Hallucinations Vs Mindset

Hallucinations Vs Mindset

“Understanding what’s happening in the world is a balance of taking information and your interpretation of that information. If you’re putting less weight on what’s going on around you but then over interpreting that could lead to hallucinations.” - Cris Niell
Hallucinations are defined as perceiving something which is not existed (expect in their mind).  Everyone has a kind of hallucinations about the world and usually this topic has been dealt more in the supernatural elements but in reality it is in different form that we access facts to live on.
Sensation or sensory perception of a person experiences in the absence of a relevant external stimulus can be called as Hallucination. A hallucination can occur in any sensory modality — visual, auditory, olfactory, gustatory, tactile, etc.
Auditory hallucinations (e.g. hearing voices or sound) are most common type of hallucination in schizophrenia. Visual hallucinations are quite usual among all. Research suggests that auditory hallucinations happen when people misjudge their own inner self-talk as coming from an outside source. Hallucinations can often be meaningful to the person experiencing them.
“I don’t feel like we’ve necessarily found the smoking gun for the entire underlying cause of hallucinations, but this is likely to be a piece of it,” Niell says.
Once a writer had a doubt about supernatural things and hallucination, he wants to check the aspects of hallucination and how it was working. He thought of his tragic instance about his mother suicide in ceiling fan. He was in a hotel room with the thoughts and just thinking deeply about his mother’s face so to check whether she would appear anywhere. For no reason he intensified the thoughts and getting more into it.

It was a no moon day and no power in the room, which made the day more darker than the usual. There was a strong wind flipped the windows, he wanted to shut it  down so he went  near the window, he was astonished with view of his mother standing under the tree and looking  upward window. He could not believe himself and image under the tree was sharp that was his mother.
Within a minute, the power came and he shocked that he had hallucination;  he got severe fever after that for ten days. He had consulted many psychiatrists regarding this, the answers were ‘Hallucinations would have been created by crazy signals of neurons’.
A person can experience visual hallucinations for many reasons, including consuming hallucinogenic substances or as a symptom of schizophrenia. While we understand some of the circumstances that cause hallucinations –  but the facts behind this is yet to find. “You might expect visual hallucinations would result from neurons in the brain firing like crazy, or by mismatched signals,” - Cris Niell,University of Oreon.
As we choose to run behind the rat race and don’t want to think more. We believe that functions of our brain will not go crazy, even after stressing out and tensing for trivial things, but reality is stress and sleepless nights will lead to impair cells and damaging it most. This results in schizophrenia. As much as the damage, we create, it mismatches the brain signals.  Priorities in life decide the quality of the thoughts, our mindset accesses to this thought process always.
Some of the techniques in NLP have minimized the thoughts, overthinking drives us crazy. It has the strategies to focus  sensory sub modalities of a person which can be understood through his/her perception and neuro semantics filters. The way a person conceives ideas depends the filter system, through regulating the sensory acuities, one can have fine-tuned thought process. In this process the mindset has got empowered by knowing the facts and figures about the threats which release the tension and stress. The calm mindset can be acquired through practicing NLP techniques.
