Expectation Vs Mindset
Expectation is an assumption
of our mindset. It influences our reality and creates results. The response of
expectation made us to work more to fulfill that. Many of our life choices are
being made by the expectations of family or our loved ones. We set some goals
for others and expect the results to be positive. Always in all journey of life, we are led by our dreams,
vision and Hope. The reason why expectation for others stands strong is -their
value for our words. This is in reverse we sent cues to others about our
attitude, they also expect us to perform their wish.
Expectation is good one
as it shows the outline of the action to be performed by us, in given situation.
Expectations are time bound and we stick to that and run behind. People rise to
any extent to fulfill that, as it has the force and the power to improve or
deprive them.
It’s been obvious to
note our articulation has the flavor of our expectation the modulation we use
to strengthen and stress our intentions. For instance, in a gathering you have
been introduced as something to hype the expectation, your introduction then triggers
the expectation to assume things. Members
in the group introduce themselves in the same style to give cues to expect the
same.
Expectation acts as
placebo effect. We are expected to perform the task and succeed in doing that.
Our conscience will work like we have an extra brilliance to cope their
expectations.
“We’re wired to
expect the world to be brighter and more meaningful and more obviously
interesting than it actually is. And when we realize that it isn’t, we start
looking around for the real world.”― Lev Grossman
Expectation dramatically influences the people’s
mind, In advertisements expectations in life, are filmed to replicate the wears
and tears. Marketing runs only on this expectations.
The dream expectations are shown as the reality and the crowd are forced to
expect the good qualities in their life as standards.
Once there was a devotee
of Shiva in a village. He was so pious and regular in doing poojas for Lord Shiva.
Lord Shiva was also happy and waiting for a chance to help him. Meanwhile there
was a cyclone and flood in that village. There was a cloud burst and rain slashed for days and
people started to evict the village. Everyone in the village asked the devotee
to join them as the flood level rising drastically. Since devotee had strong belief that Lord Shiva would rescue him at any cost. As such the
villagers said the water level increased and his house sunk full. Now he was
standing on the top of his house, praying Shiva
to help.
Now the helicopter
roamed on the sky announced him to hold the rope to save him. But he denied at
last the village was completely washed way with flood. Devotee reached the
heaven with full of disappointment. He met Lord Shiva, as he was upset that
Lord Shiva never rescued him in the crisis.
Lord Shiva denied and
said he had come in disguise of villager and pilot to save his life, but he
never used that. Shiva said expecting things to happen in the way we wish without
our efforts would never yield a result. Our expectation is like the devotee, we
want the dream to happen in the exact way what we expect.
The decision making is directly proportional to how we want
things to happen with an expectation. Expectation is an order in silence. Expectations
are not that bad, it has so many outlets. How you interact with the present
mindset and how you tackle it when some barriers come in your way. The self-discourse
of the mindset with unrealistic barriers are most dreadful one.
Great expectation of the world ends in radical growth in it.
Rule of expectation works in a unique way, Once Winston Churchill who was the master
in dealing people, said, “If you want to see the quality in people just impute
it in them”. It invokes the rule of internal consistency in them. Ignite the expectation
in a positive way to acknowledge the best result in what you see.
